It’s about that time again. Halloween. Now, I’ve never been a huge fan of dressing up, applying make-up or looking like I shouldn’t be wearing that costume. Rather than dressing up, I’ve always been more attracted to the theme of Halloween. Besides being a hallmark holiday, it does bring 3 more shades of orange to almost anywhere you go. Oh, and pumpkins. Where would we be on Halloween without the pumpkins?
Now, I admit and I’m sure you would agree. Disneyland? AGAIN? So maybe I’ve been there about 3 times within the past year thus far. So what if I’ve gone over my quota of 2 times per year. In my defense, there was a decade hiatus in my life where I didn’t go to Disneyland so technically, I’m still under a once per year average. Besides, it’s Halloween Time! How could you resist? I obviously could not.
Given that it is Disneyland, my expectations for their ghoulish decorations were rather low. And rightfully so. I’m not sure if it’s possible to transform Disney, which is rated G, to anything even remotely higher than PG. It was more of a cute and festive version of Halloween as you would expect. But all in all, I still had a blast and they managed to maintain the magic that is Disneyland. Oh and btw, firework show for Halloween, different. Believe that.
